"We were referred to Stanley for our home hunt in Las Vegas by our local trusted real estate professional--a family friend of many years with a professional network that suggested Stanley King as a competent resource in that city. Stanley interacted with us via email for a few weeks before we could find a scheduling slot for our trip and air passage to Las Vegas. He asked us appropriate questions to understand our home hunting goals, and provided very sensible advice and feedback to meet those goals, including a good search plan and a choice of homes for sale to visit. Stanley always respected our directions and never tried to push some property on us, as has happened to me in the past with lesser professionals. We had a pretty intense day and a half with him spent house-hunting, and none of that time was wasted. This was well done, as my wife and I were time-constrained. The trip ended in our expression of interest in one particular property. Stanley, so far, had been competent, which would have earned him four well deserved stars. Where he really earned his fifth stars was in how he conducted the ensuing negotiation. I can be a difficult buyer at times, and Stanley made good of serious constraints we discussed. Rather than attempting to invalidate my requests, Stanley embraced them and ran with them. A stellar negotiation resulted in our new home in Las Vegas. He also referred us to escrow and loan professional. The escrow firm was competent; customer service at the loan office was disappointing: I asked for a few not-so-unusual features and it appears to me in that office the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing, but the outcome was professional enough. I would not hesitate to recommend Stanley King to a friend. I would also let a friend know that Stanley is an analytical person who can listen and can understand articulated arguments. Stanley was always polite and civil, yet he appears to me more like a "number" person than a "touchy-feely" salesman; but if you know reasonably well what you want--which was our case--he will help you get it."
